The agreement between you and PackLyst.

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the PackLyst mobile apps and website (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use the Service. If you use PackLyst on behalf of others (such as family members), you are responsible for their information and for ensuring you have the right to provide it.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date. Notify us promptly at hello@packlyst.app of any unauthorized use.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own trip-planning and packing needs. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell, or use the Service to build a competing product.
PackLyst offers a free tier plus optional paid plans:
Paid plans are auto-renewable subscriptions (except Lifetime, which is a one-time purchase). Payment is charged to your Apple App Store, Google Play, or web billing account at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription automatically renews for the same period at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
Manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings, or via your web billing portal. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Except where required by law or by the applicable app store's policies, payments are non-refundable and partial periods are not refunded. Prices may change; we will give notice as required and any change applies to future billing periods.
You retain ownership of the content you add (trips, profiles, notes, memories). You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that content solely to operate the Service for you and anyone you share it with. You are responsible for the content you add and for having the right to share it.

The Service, including its software, design, and PackLyst branding, is owned by us and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.
PackLyst provides packing suggestions and planning tools for convenience. Recommended items are suggestions only — you are responsible for what you actually pack, including any medical, safety, travel-document, or destination-specific requirements. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PackLyst and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost data, profits, or trips, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service and its users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, provide additional notice. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer-protection rights that cannot be waived under the law of your place of residence.
